Complete Chaos

A few days ago, I was just minding my business, cleaning my coat and basking in the sun that was shining through the window. Then, suddenly, I heard a lot of commotion and shrieks of craziness from the next room. I jumped up and ran over to make sure the beans were ok. They were freaking out (I would like to think in a good way as I did) that there was a chipmunk in the house.
The other day I caught one and chased it into the garage so I could play with it. Well, Chippy as the beans called him, was not thrilled with the game I wanted to play, so he went and hid behind a workbench. I eventually forgot about him and went about my business as usual. Until today. I guess Chippy wanted out of our steamy litter box smelling garage and made the great mistake of coming in through the cat door.

Once my lady bean was able to trap it between the window and the screen, I had 30 minutes of some salivating fun. Then lady bean lifted the screen so Chippy could run free. Maybe I'll see him again. I'm determined to actually. I still want to play a game. Ciao Ciao. Meow.

Whoa! That is very exciting. I never seen a chipmunk up close before. He looks interesting and fun to play with.

Your are lucky to have met a chipmunk up close. I'd love to meet one and maybe we could become friends. He looks like he's the same size as my guinea pig sister. He could be her boyfriend.
